Settled In

It’s been pretty quite here on the beach. A few passer-bys, the occasional squawk from children playing in the distance, and the roll of ocean waves on the sand a few blocks away. The weather has been kind, and the full moon, a welcome companion.

My work has mostly been consumed by various client’s projects, but that hasn’t stopped me from whippin’ out a few new riffs on the 7-string. I am well primed for, and excited about writing, so when the time comes to immerse myself completely, the cogs and gears will fall in place nicely.

Something that occurred to me today; I haven’t spoken since Thursday, and given the nature of my forced seclusion, I doubt seriously that I’ll be speaking anytime soon. Remedy 1) talk to self, Remedy 2) walk on beach and talk to anyone who will listen, Remedy 3) call 1-900 numbers and ask if I can talk instead.

A breeze is picking up and I was just invited on the back porch by a cold PBR…“coming my friend!”
